Tryout Application
Charlotte, NC - The lovely Luv-A-Bull Cheerleaders of Johnson C. Smith University will hold fall tryouts on Tuesday, August 24th, Wednesday, August 25th, and Thursday, August 26th. The tryouts will allow potential candidates an opportunity to join one of the best spirit programs in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA).
Potential candidates will have a chance to be a part of one of the most visible groups on the campus of Johnson C. Smith University and in the Charlotte, NC community. Full-time students and incoming freshmen will have the opportunity to become a part of the "Ambassadors of Spirit".
Candidates should have the following skills: knowledge of the JCSU Loyalty Song, one original chant, a dance routine, ability to execute jumps, and tumbling (recommended, not required).
Those chosen will cheer at a number of events, including Golden Bull home and selected away football, basketball games, pep rallies, community activities, and other events.
Applicants must provide the following:
*Student must possess a 2.3 GPA or better
*Completed application
*Letter of recommendation (all newcomers)
*Student ID card or Acceptance letter (incoming freshman)

Proper attire is required for every tryout participant:
Females
Sports Bra
T-shirt (White)
Shorts (Navy or Black)
Sneakers (Cheerleading shoes preferred)
Males

Sneakers
* No jewelry (including belly and tongue rings)
* Hair neat and pulled away from the face
