Raleigh, NC – The Johnson C. Smith University men's tennis team earned another CIAA victory with a 9-0 divisional win against Saint Augustine's College Wednesday afternoon at the Lions Park tennis courts. JCSU moves to 5-10 in the overall standings and 2-1 in the conference.
Seniors
Aaron Hutcherson (Cincinnati, OH) and
Jason Stuckey (Cincinnati, OH) took the first doubles match 8-2 against Marcel Harley and Levi Thompson. Sophomores
McKenzie Bean (Hamilton, Bermuda) and
Robert Butts (Atlanta, GA) picked up a victory in No. 2 doubles action by the same margin (8-2).
Coyatito Smith and Miles Roe pushed junior
Jamil Jones (Atlanta, GA) and sophomore
Jerald Stuckey (Cincinnati, OH) at the No. 3 doubles position, but were eventually trumped by the JCSU duo 8-4.

Johnson C. Smith puts together their first pair of consecutive victories this season. First a 5-4 win over Wittenberg University on Monday and then the Falcons.
Hopefully this is a good rhythm for the Golden Bulls heading into the CIAA East-West Roundup held March 19-21 in Petersburg, VA. All matches will be held at the tennis courts on the campus of Virginia State University.
