JCSU Men's Tennis Beats WSSU, 9-0

The Johnson C. Smith University men's tennis team won all six singles and three doubles en route to a 9-0 win over Winston-Salem State in Winston-Salem, NC. Winning for the Golden Bulls were Justin Stuckey at 1, Romar Douglas at 2, Frento Burton at 3, Russell McKoy at 4, George Dixon at 5,and Faheem Wesley at 6. The team also claimed the doubles victory without allowing the Rams to score one point. The win moves the Golden Bulls to 5-12 overall and 2-1 in the CIAA while the Rams drop to 1-6 overall and 1-4 in conference play.

JCSU returns to action tomorrow, March 16, 2006 at 2:00 pm vs. Saint Augustine's College. The first serve will take place at 2:00 pm on campus. WSSU moves on to play Saint Paul's College on Saturday in Lawrenceville, VA at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
