Misenheimer, NC – The JCSU Golden Bulls men's tennis team was dealt a 9-0 sweep by Pfeiffer University on Tuesday afternoon at the Knapp Tennis Center on the Falcons' campus. Johnson C. Smith drops to 2-9 overall and 0-4 this semester, while Pfeiffer starts their season at 1-0. 

Senior Jason Stuckey (Cincinnati, OH) and sophomore Robert Butts (Atlanta, GA) teamed up at the number one doubles position for an 8-2 loss to Johan de Wit and Philip Lawson. Frank Pouchet and Andrea and Cazzaro won the second match point for the Falcons with an 8-4 win against senior Aaron Hutcherson (Cincinnati, OH) and sophomore McKenzie Bean (Hamilton, Bermuda) at the No. 2 doubles spot. 

Junior Jamil Jones (Atlanta, GA) and sophomore Jerald Stuckey (Cincinnati, OH) partnered for number three doubles against Luis Villalta and Sid Kaushik in an 8-1 defeat. Each of the Golden Bulls were topped in singles play. 

JCSU jumps into conference competition in their next match against Chowan University on Saturday, February 20th. Match play in this CIAA Western Division dual is scheduled for 1:00 pm at the Coleman/Cuthbertson Tennis Courts on the campus of Johnson C. Smith.
