Bowling Returns to Competition This Weekend

Charlotte, N.C. (Feb. 4, 2016) – The Johnson C. Smith University bowling team will return to the lanes to take part in the CIAA Bowling Event No. 2 this weekend at the Rocky Mount Bowling Center in Rocky Mount, N.C. Competition on Friday and Saturday will begin at 12:30 with Sunday's matches getting underway at 8:30 a.m.
The event was originally scheduled for Jan. 22-24 but was postponed due to wintry weather.
The event marks the first time JCSU has competed since Nov. 13-15. In that event, JCSU was led by
Sydney Brown (Davison, Mich.), as she finished with the high-game for CIAA Southern Division teams when she rolled a 224 on day two.
On the third day, JCSU finished 2-2 in Baker scoring matches, notching wins over Livingstone (665-491) and Shaw (713-577).
JCSU currently stands at 6-6 in head-to-head competition on the season.
