JCSU Men's Tennis Falls at Coker, 9-0
Hartsville, S.C. (Feb. 19, 2017) – The Johnson C. Smith University men's tennis team fell by a 9-0 count at Coker College on Saturday afternoon.
Coker swept every match, but
Marlowe Anderson (Charlotte, N.C.) was competitive at No. 1 singles, falling 6-2, 6-0.
Tarick Miller (New Orleans, La.) managed to win a game in the first set at No. 2, falling 6-1, 6-0. Teammate
Bradley Girgorio (New York, N.Y.) took a game in each set at No. 5, falling 6-1, 6-1.
In the doubles matches, Coker took No. 1 and No. 2 by identical 8-1 scores and managed an 8-0 win at No. 3.
The loss drops JCSU to 0-3 on the season.
