Auditions for Golden Bullettes Dance Team Set

CHARLOTTE - The Johnson C. Smith University Dance Team, known as the Golden Bullettes will be hosting auditions August 28, 2019 at 6:30 p.m., at the JCSU Student Health Plex.
 
Auditions will allow potential candidates the opportunity to join one of JCSU's dance programs.

Applicants must provide the following ON audition day:
  • Proof that student possess a minimum GPA 2.3 (non freshman)
  • Must bring a dance resume 
  • One (1) letter of recommendation
  • Must bring student ID card or acceptance letter (incoming freshman)
  • Make up one 15 second routine, style of your choice to perform at auditions.

  • Candidates should have the following skill requirements:
  • Ability to execute basic dance technique skills such as leaps, turns and kicks
  • Ability to learn routines quickly 
  • Verse in multiple dance styles
  • Enthusiastic 
 
Audition Attire:
  • T-shirt (black)
  • Pants/shorts (black)
  • Hair (nicely done)
  • Jazz shoes preferred (not required - you may wear sneakers or other dance shoes)
