Track and Field Opens the New Year at HBCU Showcase and Mondo College Invitational on Saturday

CHARLOTTE - Nine Johnson C.  Smith University student athletes will compete in the HBCU Showcase at The Armory's New Balance Track & Field Center on Saturday Jan. 14 in New York, New York, while the remainder of the team will compete at the Mondo College Invitational at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem.

The HBCU Showcase made its debut at The Armory in 2018. This is the fourth edition of this meet and is now considered a staple on The Armory's January calendar.
The meet begins at 9:30 a.m. with the field events with the running events starting at 11:15 a.m.
