Softball to host Livingstone

CHARLOTTE - The Johnson C. Smith University softball team concludes its 2023 regular season and home slate when it hosts Livingstone College (6-17, 1-13 CIAA, 1-7 South) for a doubleheader on Friday, Apr. 21 set at Biddleville Park.

The Golden Bulls (8-15, 5-9 CIAA, 2-6 South) are looking to gain ground in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division standings currently in fourth place behind Claflin Winston-Salem State and Fayetteville State.

 The series will kick off with a two-game matchup with the Blue Bears beginning at 1 p.m. Friday's two contests will be themed as Senior Day and JCSU will recognize two seniors in between game one and game two.
