CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA®), the nation's oldest historically black conference, opens its 2024 Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, NC. The two-day event features 11 women's and eight men's teams competing for CIAA titles.
The competition begins Sunday, February 11 at 9:00 a.m. through Monday, February 12.
This year marks the 44th year the CIAA has sponsored indoor track & field as a women's sport and the 47th for the men.
In the women' rankings, JCSU is ranked 16
th in the Atlantic Region as of February 5th by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTCCCCA) with 64.13 points, while the JCSU men's are ranked 20
th in the Atlantic Region.

Zephaniah Cox, Jr., (60m), has the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying performances entering the conference championship
