CHARLOTTE - The Johnson C. Smith University women's softball team finished out the 2024 season with a season split against Shaw University on Tuesday afternoon in Raleigh. The Golden Bulls fell in game one 7-5, but came back to win game two, 6-1.
In game one
Lacasha Lawson went 2 for 4 on the day, with a double and a triple and two RBI's.Â

In game two, the Bears committed three errors and smart base running by the Golden Bulls gave them the 5-0 lead into the sixth inning. JCSU went on to win 6-1.
Tekiya Garr-Carter had three stolen bases.
