WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Johnson C. Smith University turned in an impressive day on the track and in the field, showcasing depth across sprints, hurdles, jumps, and throws. The Golden Bulls showcased depth, strength, and rising young talent across the board. With multiple event wins, top-three finishes, and dominant group performances—especially in the long jump—the team continues to build momentum heading into the next meet.
Sprints
60 Meters
Freshman Timothy Tye led the Golden Bulls in the 60m, placing 5th overall in 7.19. Fellow freshman Kobe Mack followed with a strong 7.27, placing 9th. Sophomore
Tyjuan Gourdine-Moran recorded a no time (NT) after not finishing.
200 Meters
The Golden Bulls dominated the 200m standings with freshman Christopher Coltrane-Gaston capturing the event title in 22.17.
