PUEBLO, Colo. - The NCAA has announced an adjustment to the schedule for Saturday's final day of competition in the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships being held here at the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl.
With a forecast calling for inclement weather in the Pueblo area later today, the NCAA has decided to move up the running events. The track meet will now conclude at approximately 5:10 p.m. The meet, which is still scheduled to begin this morning at 11 a.m., was originally set to conclude around 9:10 p.m. tonight with the presentation of the team awards.
"After meeting with host staff and committee we are still expecting thunderstorms to begin early evening and continue throughout the evening, with little potential of having a break in the weather. To complete all events today, the decision has been made to adjust the schedule to conclude before potential weather issues. Our top priority is the safety of all competitors, coaches, officials and spectators," said Donisha Carter, NCAA Assistant Director of Championships and Alliances.
