Men’s Track ends CIAA Championships in fourth place

Durham, N.C. - The Johnson C. Smith University men's track and field team ended the CIAA Championships in fourth place scoring 91 points. 

Tyson Williams finished first in the men's 200-meter dash with a time of 20.48 and placed second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.31 and teammate Nicholas Francis placed third with a time of 10.38.

Caleb Baxter placed third the 400-meters with a time of 48.39. Mohamed Adoini finished second with a personal time of 50.81

Javion Watkins won the javelin throw with a mark of 50.58 meter., while Jordae Wilson placed in the triple jump with a mark of 14.68 meters.

The 4x100 relay team placed second with a time of 40.66 seconds and the 4x400 relay also placed second with a time of 3:14.19 which is a season best.
