Tryouts are being held April 15-17, 2010 at the Irwin Belk Complex Dance Room
Charlotte, NC - The Johnson C. Smith University Luv-A-Bulls cheerleaders are set to host tryouts on April 14-16, 2010. The location will be in the Irwin Belk Complex (Dance Room). JCSU tryouts are open to all incoming freshman, as well as all currently enrolled JCSU students.
The applicants must provide the following; completed application, one letter of recommendation (all newcomers), student ID card or an acceptance letter (incoming freshman), and the student must possess a 2.3 grade point average or better. Application forms can be found on the JCSU athletic website under the Luv-A-Bull Cheerleaders section and should be filled out prior to the day of tryouts.
The attire required for tryouts is as followed: sports bra, white t-shirt, navy or black shorts, sneakers, no jewelry (including belly and tongue rings), and neat hair (pulled away from the face). The tryouts should also include great ATTITUDE and ENTHUSIASM!!!

JCSU Cheerleaders are the ambassadors of spirit for the University. They cheer for all football games, home and selected away men's and women's basketball, pep rallies, community events, and other campus activities. JCSU cheerleading is a very demanding activity that involves intense physical fitness. You must be willing to work hard, be dedicated, creative, and most importantly have a positive attitude.
