JCSU Defeats WSSU 23 - 32

The Johnson C. Smith University women's cross-country team defeated the Lady Rams of Winston-Salem State University on Monday afternoon in Winston-Salem, NC. Tiona Pope finished second behind WSSU's Janessa Webb with a time of 25:47. The race, which was originally scheduled for last Thursday afternoon, was rescheduled due to heavy rains in the Winston-Salem region.

Johnson C. Smith placed second, third, fourth, sixth and eighth to capture the win.
