Box Score vs. Livingstone

Salisbury, NC - The Johnson C. Smith University women's volleyball team lost in three sets to Livingstone College inside Trent Gymnasium on Monday evening. JCSU moves to a conference record of 3-10 and an overall record of 5-17.

Senior outside hitter LaQwesha Gamble (Winter Haven, FL) led the team's production with 22 digs, one ace and six kills in the three sets. Following up, junior outside hitter, Sabrina Johnson (Columbia, SC) had 12 digs, one assists, four kills and 29 attack attempts.

Junior setter Kayla Bazemore (Fayetteville, NC) had a strong contribution with four kills, 12 attack attempts, nine digs, and a team high of 17 assists. Assisting her teammate, freshman middle hitter Gracyn Doctor (Charleston, SC) had one dig, one block, two block assists, 17 attack attempts four kills and one assist.

The Golden Bulls will face Winston Salem University on Monday, October 29th at 6:00 p.m. Match play is set to begin on the campus of Winston Salem University inside the C.E. Gaines Gymnasium.
