JCSU Softball supports the NFCA's "Strike Out Cancer" program
Charlotte, NC – The Johnson C. Smith University women's softball team will host their first ever “Strike Out Cancer” game on Wednesday, March 21st at Biddleville Park. The Golden Bulls will face Morris College in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 3:00 p.m.
The purpose of the event is to raise cancer awareness and prevention. JCSU softball will acknowledge a faculty/staff cancer survivor and have a celebratory balloon release in-between games. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and show your support for the event.
Donations will be accepted and will benefit the National Fastpitch Coaches Association's (NFCA) “Strike Out Cancer” program.
