CIAA Offensive Rookie of the Year Keahn Wallace (#1) and All-CIAA offensive tackle Rico Arellano (#55) will be apart of the 2012 edition of the Golden Bulls football squad
Petersburg, VA - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) will hold its annual season opening press conference and luncheon on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Gateway Dining Event Center on the campus of Virginia State University, 11:30 a.m.
Traditionally, the conference will announce the Predicted Order of Finish and all conference Preseason Team, as voted on by the CIAA Football Coaches Association. Each coach will also participate in a brief interview session- where they are welcomed to give their outlook and anticipation for the upcoming season.

The Golden Bulls finished in the standings 6-5 overall, 4-3 in the CIAA, and Pioneer Bowl champions. JCSU had the second best record in the Southern Division and third best overall record in the conference. In addition, the team is returning 2011 CIAA Offensive Rookie of Year
Keahn Wallace (Homestead, FL) at quarterback and All-CIAA defensive end selection Derrick Johnson (Charlotte, NC).
CIAA Alumni Associations are welcomed to purchase tables for attendance; $300/per table. All ticket proceeds will be donated to the CIAA General Scholarship Fund.
