Trevin Parks (Hickory, NC) ranks second in points per game for Division II according the weekly rankings for games through January 6th. After 12 games, Parks has scored 312 points total for an average of 26 points per game.
Last season, Parks finished the season as the second best scorer in the nation by averaging 22.7 points. He has been one of the top scorers in the country during his three seasons at JCSU. Parks concluded the 2010-11 season with averaging 21.3 points and has elevated his scoring every season since.
This past week, Parks averaged 23.5 points per game against Lincoln (PA) and Bowie State. In the individual head to head matchup against Byron Westmorland of Bowie State, Parks scored 24 points compared to just 14 points for Westmorland. Last week, Westmorland held the top spot, but now ranks third with 25.7 points per game.
