The Johnson C. Smith University Charlotte Alumni Chapter will be sponsoring a bus trip for the Central State game departing on Friday, November 8th at 8:30 a.m.
Charlotte, NC – The Johnson C. Smith University Charlotte Alumni Chapter will be sponsoring a bus trip for the Golden Bulls regular season finale football clash against Central State University on Saturday, November 9th. The cost for the bus trip is estimated at $85.00, which includes transportation and a game ticket. Departure is scheduled for Friday, November 8th at 8:30 a.m.
The mission of the Johnson C. Smith University Charlotte Alumni Chapter is to support the University by accomplishing the Association's objectives and purposes of fostering and maintaining a strong spirit of loyalty, support and cooperation among the alumni, friends, and former students of the University towards the programs and goals of their Alma Mater.
JCSU will square off against the Marauders on Saturday, November 9th in Wilberforce, OH with 1:30 p.m. kickoff time. The Alumni bus trip will depart at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, November 8th (the day before the game) from Brayboy Gymnasium on campus.
Passengers will be responsible for the cost of their own meals. The trip includes planned stops for breakfast (Mooresville, NC) at Denny's and dinner at a nearby eatery. Beverages and snacks will be available while watching movies on the ride to and from Ohio.
"We just want to bring back the spirit and comradery as well as support our student-athletes on the road," said JCSU Charlotte Alumni Chapter Treasurer
Peggy Lide. "With the continued support of our alumni, trips like this we continue to be coordinated."
For those interested, please pay the $85.00 fee to reserve a seat on the bus by October 21st. This will be an overnight trip and those participating will be responsible for their own hotel accommodations. A block of rooms have been reserved at a special rate of $108 at the Crown Plaza Dayton.
