Rico Arellano and

Over 100 of the best Non-FBS college football players from around the country are confirmed for the National Bowl Game rosters and will arrive in Miami, FL on December 6th. The National Bowl Game is an annual post-season college football all-star game consisting of top players from non-FBS schools. Players are expected from as far as Oregon, Colorado, and Texas.
Arellano (Charlotte, NC) earned All-CIAA honors for the third time in his four-year career. He was named to the 2013 All-CIAA preseason team. Arellano was instrumental in the JCSU offense producing 3,962 yards of total offense at the right tackle position. The Golden Bulls offense ranks fifth in the conference for average yardage per game with 396.2 yards in a ten-game season.
Orr (Brunson, SC) has been an essential piece of the offensive line at the center position. He was named CIAA Offensive Lineman of the Week for the week ending September 21, 2013. Orr anchored the JCSU offensive line to account for 531 total yards on offense in a 35-22 win over Division I Davidson College. Behind run blocking and pass protection of Orr, JCSU had a ball carrier rush for 135 yards off 22 attempts and a quarterback pass for 368 yards no interceptions. Orr is a four-year starter.
The National Bowl is the only elite non-FBS post-season all-star game that sees scouts from several NFL teams along with the CFL, and arena leagues. The bowl rosters are unique in that they give the NFL, CFL, and additional scouts a chance to view and get to know some of the best players from smaller schools many college football fans may not have even heard of.
This year the National Bowl will be coached by award-winning and 18-year NFL veteran Coach Mike Stock, formerly of the Green Bay Packers, while other team will be led by Chris Thompson of the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks, who is a veteran pro arena head coach with AFL experience.
In the first three years, the National Bowl was played in Allentown, PA and with the work of its founder Michael Quartey Esq., a former NFL Certified Contractor; the game has shifted to a major FBS Stadium in Miami, Florida. The founder explains "The athletic department at FIU is first class and the Athletic Director Pete Garcia, & Assistant Athletic Director of Facilities Wes Hardin, have been instrumental in bringing the National Bowl to FIU this year and we are pumped to have our players and scouts at such a premier college stadium as FIU facilities are state of the art."
