VOLLEYBALL TEAM FALLS TO WSSU IN STRAIGHT SETS

Box Score The JCSU Volleyball team lost to Winston-Salem State, 3-0, in a CIAA Southern Division matchup, Monday evening in Winston-Salem, NC.  The Golden Bulls committed 25 errors during the match to seal their fate.

Gracyn Doctor led the offensive effort with seven kills and a service ace.  She also had six blocks (1 solo) on the evening.

Teammates Kathleen Janda and Jane Tukia had five kills each.  Janda blocked four shots (3 solo) and Mercedes Jones recorded eight digs.

JCSU falls to 6-6 overall, 5-5 in the CIAA.

The Golden Bulls return to action Thursday evening when they travel to Fayetteville to face the Lady Broncos of Fayetteville State.  First serve is set for 6:00pm in the Capel Arena.
