JCSU Falls to Fayetteville State, 3-0

Gracyn Doctor, the JCSU Volleyball team (6-8) fell to Fayetteville State(11-2), 3-0, Thursday evening in Fayetteville.
The CIAA defending champion Lady Broncos put up a stout defense to defeat the Golden Bulls, 25-18, 25-19 and 25-16. The key differential was in blocks. FSU had a total of 11 blocks while JCSU could only manage five blocks overall.
Offensively, FSU finished the evening with 11 service aces while JCSU could only manage one.
FSU improves to 11-2 (CIAA: 10-1) and JCSU falls to 6-8 (CIAA: 3-6)
The Golden Bull spikers return to the court this weekend when they host a tri-match involving Morris College and Bluefield State. All matches will be played Saturday in Brayboy Gymnasium.
