Women's Basketball Drops 76-45 Decision at North Carolina A&T.
Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C.—(Nov.25, 2014) -- The Johnson C. Smith women's basketball dropped their first game of the year at North Carolina A&T, 76-45.
The Golden Bulls only shot 34.3% (12-35) for the game, including a 1-10 showing from three-point range. The Aggies shot 47.2% (25-53) and connected for six three-pointers on 12 attempts. The Aggies also forced 32 JCSU turnovers, leading to 26 points.
Ashley Porter (Winston-Salem, N.C.) scored a team-high eight points while
LaKendra Wilkerson (Greensboro, N.C.) had seven for JCSU. Wilkerson also added six rebounds on the evening for JCSU.
With the loss, JCSU drops to 4-1 while North Carolina A&T improves to 3-1.
JCSU will finally get to enjoy playing on its home court on Saturday, Nov. 29. Tip off against Seton Hill is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
