Six of the 12 additions from Georgia

Charlotte, NC – The Johnson C. Smith University football coaching staff has announced their 2014 National Letter of Intent Signees for the upcoming season. These are the newest members of the Golden Bulls football squad as well as the JCSU family.

"My coaching staff and I continue to stay committed towards recruiting student-athletes with character and talent, and I think this is another class fits that mold," said head football coach Steven Aycock. "We're excited to see these guys compete and contribute to the success of the program being built."

"We recruit each year based on specific needs," stated Aycock. "We have a few more slots to fill, but I feel like we're headed in a solid direction."

The Golden Bulls will open the 2014 season on Saturday, September 6th against UNC Charlotte. The game will be played at Richardson Stadium on the campus of UNCC, but a time has yet to be determined.
