The All-CIAA preseason team and predicted order of finish to be announced

Durham, NC – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) has announced details regarding their annual CIAA Football Media Day.  The event will be held on Thursday, July 24th at 11:30am in Durham, North Carolina at the Durham Convention Center. 
 
Johnson C. Smith University head coach Steven Aycock will give his outlook on the season and will share his expectations and thoughts for the program.   The Golden Bulls concluded the 2013 season with a 5-5 overall record and 2-5 finish in CIAA play.  Senior defensive end Jovontay Williams (Stone Mountain, GA) earned All-CIAA First Team honors along with being named an All-American by several sports publications. Seniors and returning starters Keahn Wallace (Miami, FL) and Anthony Allen (Lithonia, GA) both grabbed All-CIAA Second Team recognition.  Wallace played at the quarterback position and Allen at linebacker. 
 
Senior wide receiver Chris Patterson (Pendleton, SC) and Jovontay Williams will accompany Aycock in Durham as JCSU football representatives for media day. 
CIAA Commissioner, Jacqie McWilliams noted, "The CIAA's Football Media is a long-standing tradition and provides unprecedented access to the schools' coaching staff and top student-athletes."
 
Head coaches and 22 returning student-athletes will be interviewed by Stan Lewter.  The CIAA will reveal the Predicted Order of Finish for each division in addition to the All-CIAA Preseason Team.
