Joyner Chases Win No. 500 This Weekend at JCSU Tip-Off Classic

Stephen Joyner, Sr. his 500
th career win as the Golden Bulls host the JCSU Tip-Off Classic in Brayboy Gym.
Action starts on Friday as CIAA opponent Livingstone (0-2) takes on SIAC foe Benedict (2-0) at 5:30. Following that game, JCSU will look to give Joyner the milestone 500
th when they take on Apprentice School (1-1) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday's games will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Livingstone battling Apprentice and JCSU tangling with Benedict at 4:00 p.m.
The Golden Bulls enter the matchup with the Builders at 2-1 on the year after a narrow 95-92 road win at Carson-Newman on Wednesday night. Against the Eagles, JCSU shot 51.5% from the field (34-66) and forced 19 turnovers that led to 23 points.
