JCSU Women's Tennis Claims Two CIAA Wins On Sunday

Charlotte N.C. (March 29, 2015) – The Johnson C. Smith women's tennis team swept CIAA matches on Sunday, defeating Elizabeth City State 6-0 and Livingstone, 8-1.
In the first match, JCSU had little trouble with the visiting Vikings, only losing one game in the match. The Golden Bulls swept three of the singles matches and all three doubles matches. Three singles matches were unfinished.
In the second match of the day, JCSU downed rival Livingstone, 8-1. After falling in No. 1 singles, JCSU swept the remaining singles matches without losing a game. The Golden Bulls also took all three doubles matches.
With the pair of wins, JCSU improves to 7-9 overall, 6-4 in CIAA play. JCSU will host Fayetteville State in their next match on April 9 at 2:00 p.m.
