JCSU Men's Tennis Falls at Shaw, 9-0

Raleigh, N.C. (Apr.2, 2016) – The Johnson C. Smith University men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss to Shaw at Lions Park in Raleigh, N.C. on Saturday afternoon.

The homestanding Bears were able to sweep all six singles matches without losing a game, taking each match 6-0,6-0.

In doubles, the Golden Bull tandem of Sharif Axam (Atlanta, Ga.) and Tarick Miller (New Orleans, La.) was able to win three games, but eventually fell in the No. 1 match 8-3.

The loss drops JCSU to 0-15 on the year and 0-7 in CIAA play while Shaw improves to 4-1 in CIAA play and 6-2 overall.
