Visiting Shaw Sweeps JCSU Volleyball, 3-0
Charlotte, N.C. (Oct. 23, 2017) – The visiting Shaw University Bears hit for a .250 percentage and held Johnson C. Smith University to just a .030 hitting percentage in dealing the Golden Bulls a 3-0 (25-11, 25-20, 25-17) CIAA Southern Division loss on Monday night in Brayboy Gym
The Bears (22-4, 12-1 CIAA, 6-1 Southern Division) got 10 kills from Keveesha Wattley while setter Michelle Olmeda-Gonzalez had 25 assists. Kelly Murphy led the way for Shaw with nine digs.

Makayla Adams (Michigan City, Ind.) led the way with six kills while fellow seniorÂ
Azha McNeil (Fayetteville, N.C.) had 16 assists. Sophomore libero
Georgina Diaz (Lincolnton, N.C.) managed 11 digs to pace the Golden Bulls, who fell to 12-6, 8-5 in CIAA play ad 3-4 in the Southern Division.
JCSU will look to rebound from the loss when it hosts Bluefield State in a nonconference match on Thursday, Oct. 26. Match time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
