Taylor Smith knocked down a game-high 12 kills to lead JCSU Volleyball to a non-conference sweep of Morris College,3-0, Saturday morning in a match played at Harding University High School in Charlotte.

Smith also recorded four blocks to lead the Golden Bulls.

Gorana Bogdanovic continued her service success with 9 aces in the contest.

Cydney Calhoun recorded 18 assists as JCSU limited the Hornets to a total of 13 points in the first two sets.

The Golden Bulls are in a solid second place in the CIAA South going into this week's action.

JCSU improves to 12-6 overall and quickly return to CIAA action Monday, Oct. 8 when they host St. Augustine's to begin the final month of the regular season and their final push to the CIAA Tournament.
