Forty-Four Golden Bulls Student-Athletes Earn Their Degrees at JCSU's 146th Commencement Ceremony
Charlotte, N.C. (May 20, 2018) – Forty-three student-athletes and one athletics manager earned their undergraduate degrees as Johnson C. Smith University held its 146th Commencement Ceremony at Bojangles' Coliseum on Sunday morning.
Of those graduates, 20 earned cum laude (with praise), summa cum laude (with great praise) or magna cum laude (with greatest praise) honors.
Collectively, JCSU awarded 243 graduate and undergraduate degrees to 241 students during the ceremony.Â
The Honorable Marc Haydel Morial, former mayor of New Orleans and current President and CEO of the National Urban League served as the keynote speaker.
