CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Sept 5, 2018)– The Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU) Department of University Communications and Marketing has teamed up with SIDEARM Sports to launch a redesign of its official website – https://goldenbullsports.com - on Wednesday.

The website now has a fresh look, accessible navigation, and a responsive design that adapts to the user's device (desktop, tablet or mobile).

The redesigned website will allow the University amplify news about of the various achievements of student-athletes and athletics staff, said Director of Athletics Stephen Joyner Sr.
 
"JCSU Athletics has a great story to tell, and we are pleased that the redesigned website allows us to better tell our story," Joyner said. "Our student-athletes work hard to be strong competitors, high academic achievers and change agents in the community. This new website design provides a medium by which to showcase their academic and athletic accomplishments to their peers, parents, friends, alumni and supporters. The athletics administrators, coaching staffs and student-athletes are honored to be an integral part of the life of Johnson C. Smith University, and we're pleased that this redesigned website gives the worldwide audience a look at how we hold high the Gold and Blue in everything we do."
 
Expanded options and improved navigation make the redesigned website a more valuable communications and marketing tool, said Sherri Belfield, director of University Communications and Marketing.
 
"We are proud of this website redesign because it allows us additional options for showcasing JCSU Athletics and telling the stories of our student-athletes," Belfield said. "Not only is the layout more visually pleasing, but it is also more user-friendly with intuitive navigation to access game recaps, schedules, student-athlete achievements and our social media platforms. The redesign makes it easier to engage with our original content, and it even makes it easier to donate to our athletics department. We are excited about the possibilities and look forward to providing informative and interesting stories about all aspects of athletics at JCSU."
