JCSU used a full-court press to force 17 first half turnovers en route to a 42-17 halftime lead.

Rayeesha Hewlett (12 pts) and La'Zarea Bowens (10 pts) contributing double figures to the scoring column.
It was the fourth highest scoring output for the season with 11 players scoring points.
The win keeps the Golden Bulls tied with Winston-Salem State at the top of the CIAA Southern Division standings. Â JCSU improves to 9-9 overall and 2-0 in the CIAA South.
St. Augustine's falls to 2-15 as their current losing streak is extended to 11 games.
JCSU returns to action thie weekend when they travel up I-85 to Salisbury to take on the Lady Blue Bears of Livingstone College. Â Tip off is set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon in New Trent Gym.
