Charlotte, NC (February 10). The JCSU Women's Tennis Team played host in a dual match to Converse College Valkyries at the Coleman/Cuthbertson Tennis Courts. JCSU fell to the visiting Valkyries 6-1 in singles and doubles matches.

The lone winner for JCSU was Halle Parker the team's number 2 player. Parker took her match 6-3, 6-2 against Paulin Hagen in straight sets.

Alisa Stevenson and Aleena Oakley played well in losses. Alisa lost her match 6-3, 6-2 and Aleena lost 6-2, 6-4. The team's number 1 doubles team of Halle Parker and Cierra Turner put up a good fight falling 6-4.
