CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Johnson C. Smith University women's tennis hosted Anderson University for their fall season opener at home at the Coleman Cuthbertson Tennis Complex.  On a hot day, the Golden Bulls took a 6-1 loss to the Trojans but played tough to the very end.  Junior player, Halle Parker prevailed at No. 2 singles winning solo against Anna Tarlouskaya 6-3, 6-3. 
 
Up next, the Golden Bulls will compete in the HBCU National Tennis Championships in Atlanta, GA.  Match play is scheduled to start Thursday, September 12th, at 9am at the Sugar Creek Golf and Tennis Club.  Come cheer on the Golden Bulls as they square off against Division I and Division II opponents in this three-day tournament battle.
