Winston-Salem, N.C. - Johnson C. Smith University senior Nenad Milenkovic was the lone Golden Bull to score in double figures to a game-high of 11 points but it was not enough, as Winston-Salem State downed the Golden Bulls 83-63 in a CIAA men's basketball game at the C.E. Gaines Center on Thursday night.

Milenkovic, finished 4-of-7 from the field and 1-of-2 from long range for the Golden Bulls. Fellow teammate Justice Goodloe and Fredrick Callaway each scored nine points.

Collectively, JCSU shot 39.1% (21-of-53) from the field and just 31.7% (5-of-16) from three-point range.

The loss drops the Golden Bulls to 13-7 overall and 7-5 in CIAA play while Winston-Salem improves to 11-8 and 9-2 in CIAA action.

JCSU jumps back in play this Saturday, Feb. 1 with a 4:00 p.m., tip at home with Elizabeth City State.
