Cayse Minor 33 points help the Golden Bulls to a 97-86 win over Livingstone College at Brayboy Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

When the Golden Bulls were trying to whittle away at Livingstone's lead once at 10-points, Minor was there with an answer.Â
Minor scored 33 points and was one of three players in double figures. Senior
Nenad Milenkovic, a steady influence on the court when things got dicey, scored 20 points and
Austin Nelson had 23 points and a team-high seven rebounds.Â
JCSU (17-7, 11-4 CIAA, 8-2 Div) improved its home record to 8-4 and got the season sweep over the Blue Bears.  The win keeps the Gold and Blue second place in the division.
Livingstone (12-14, 5-10 CIAA, 3-7 Div) got stellar performances from guard Roger Ray, who had 33 points, 10 assists and four rebounds and Lydell Elmore, who scored 22.

JCSU surged ahead behind an 16-5 run – aided by forcing four Livingstone turnovers – that gave the Golden Bulls a 37-36 lead.Â
The Golden Bulls led 42-38 at halftime on a buzzer beater from Nelson.
JCSU led by 16 with 7:55 left when Nelson connected on two free throw for a 73-57 lead.Â
LC came back to twice trim the lead to nine, the final time at 74-68 on Ray's layup. .Â
JCSU is home to close the season against rival Winston-Salem State which whom the Golden Bulls are one game behind in the division, and will host Shaw on Saturday.
