MBB Falls to Lincoln (Pa.), 85-71

LINCOLN, Pa. - Johnson C. Smith University men's basketball team suffered its seventh loss on the season by the hands Lincoln (Pa.) by a margin of 85-71 Thursday evening. With the loss, JCSU stands (3-7, 0-2) on the season and Lincoln (Pa.) is 8-4, 1-2 overall. 

JCSU was down by two at halftime, 39-37.
  
Xavier Jones led the Golden Bulls in scoring with 24 points off of 8-for-11 shooting from the floor, including 1-for-1 from the three-point line and 7-for-7 from the foul line. Augustine Ominu added 15 points on the night.
 
Jones recorded a team-best four rebounds.
 
For the contest, JCSU came in averaging over 35 boards per outing; however, the Golden Bulls  were out rebounded by the Lions 43-21. The Golden Bulls shot 40.1 percent (23-for-57) from the floor and 75.7 percent (22-for-29) from the charity stripe.
