Golden Bulls went 7-5 at CIAA Event I

CHARLOTTE - Johnson C. Smith University women's bowling finished 7-5 and second place at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Event I held in Raleigh, NC. Hosted by Shaw University.

JCSU totaled 8,761 pins for the event, including 2,222 Baker total pins. The Golden Bulls earned a wins over Shaw by the score of 170-146, following a 156-117 victory over Livingstone and a 765-670 defeat over the Lady Blue Bears on Saturday.

Fayetteville State in the top spot with a total of 9,725 total pins and a 12-0 record while Bowie state also has an 12-0 record and was first in the North and 8,294 pins.

The Golden Bulls will return to action in 2023 for the CIAA Event II in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Jan. 27-29.
