Golden Bulls Clinch Division Title With 87-80 Win Over Winston-Salem State

CHARLOTTE - Under the leadership of head coach Stephen Joyner, Jr., the Johnson C. Smith University women's basketball team is the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division Champions after claiming an 87-80 victory against Winston-Salem State University on Wednesday evening inside the C.E. Gaines Center.  
 
The victory gives JCSU a record of 15-7, 9-4 CIAA, and 8-1 in the South
 
The CIAA Women's Basketball Tournament, which will take place Tuesday, Feb. 22 through Saturday, Feb. 26 at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore Md.
 
The Golden Bulls will face Claflin University in its regular season finale on Saturday, Feb 19, in Orangeburg S.C. Tip- off is set for 2:00 p.m.

An official bracket of the 2022 CIAA Women's Basketball Tournament will be released Sunday morning.
