CHARLOTTE - The Johnson C. Smith University football team opened fall camp on Tuesday morning with its first practice as the Golden Bulls gear up for their season opener on Sept. 1 at Bluefield State.
With more than 100 student-athletes reporting to camp, first-year head coach
Maurice Flowers was excited to get the first practice in the books.
All practices will be open to the public during preseason but there are
NO fans or spectators allowed on the field during practice.
JCSU will practice in the morning for the next five days before its first off day.
The Golden Bulls opens the 2022 football season on Thursday, Sept. 1 at Bluefield State. Kickoff against the Blues is set for 6 p.m.
