Men's Cross Country

MEN’S & WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY TO COMPETE IN QUEEN CITY INVITE FRIDAY

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Johnson C. Smith University men's and women's cross-country programs will compete in the Queen City Invite hosted by Queens University on Friday, Sept. 23 at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, N.C. The event is free and open to the public.
 
The women's 5k race is slated to start at 3:30 p.m., followed by the men's 8k race.  
 
JCSU women's cross-country team enters Friday's meet after a 13th place finish in their season opener at the ADIDAS XC Challenge. The Golden Bulls were led by Trinity Bellamy-Reid who finished with an overall a time of 23:59.7.
 
The men's team also coming off a 13
th place finish at the ADIDAS XC Challenge were led by Terry Towah who finished with a time of 24:53.
