CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Johnson C. Smith University football team (0-1) will make a visit to Blythewood, S.C. to face the Yellow Jackets of Allen University (0-1) on Saturday, Sept. 10 at Westwood High School. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m.
 
Allen defeated JCSU 20-19 last season inside Irwin Belk Complex while the Jackets were 2-2 in home games in 2021. 

JCSU will be playing its second road contest of the season. The Golden Bulls are coming off a 35-34 overtime road loss to Bluefield State last Thursday.  
 
Allen University football dropped their season opener on the road 40-6, Saturday night against a tough Newberry College team, the defending SAC Champs.

Following Saturday's tilt, the Golden Bulls will hit the road again for their third straight game visiting Chowan University.
