Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Johnson C Smith University Golden Bulls concluded the Mondo College Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Saturday.
The Men's team had a strong outing as Dakwan Ford-Hendley finished first overall in 7.02,
Kymali Hay finished fourth overall in 7.09,
Terry Towah finished 13th overall in 7.28 In the 60 meters.
The men capped off Day One with the 200-meter dash finals as Ford Hendley finished fourth in 22.87 and Jalen Jackson finished fifth in 23.20.
On the women's side, In the short sprints Jordyn Head advance to the finals in the 60-meter dash, placing fifth overall in a time of 7.75 seconds after placing fourth in her heat. Nyasia Weatherly finished third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.11.
The women wrapped up day one with the field events as Moriah Wheeler finished 14th with a thrown of 10.27m in the shot put.
