LINCOLN, PA -
Najah Lane and
Ashlei Kirven each scored 14 points but the Golden Bulls women's basketball team fell to Lincoln (Pa.), 73-62, in a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) cross division contest Thursday night inside Manuel Rivero Hall.
Kelis Carmon added 12 points while Kirven grabbed a team-high 17 rebounds.
The Golden Bulls (3-5, 1-4 CIAA) only scored six points in the first quarter but made up for it in the fourth quarter by scoring 25. The Lions (4-3, 2-0 CIAA) outscored JCSU in all three quarters.
Ciani Montgomery scored 22 to lead the Lions as well as Jaleesa Lanier who chipped in 17 points.
Up next, the Golden Bulls will travel to Richmond to face the Panthers of Virginia Union on Saturday, Dec. 16 inside Barco Stevens Hall. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
