Golden Bulls cruised to an 80-72 win over Johnson & Wales

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Four Golden Bulls scored in double figures as Johnson C. Smith University men's basketball scored their fourth victory of the season, defeated Johnson & Wales 80-72, inside Brayboy Gym on Saturday afternoon. 
 
Avery Huggins scored a game high of 25 points connected 12-of-18 from the field, while grabbing seven rebounds, and two steals. Reigning Rookie of the Year Ezekiel Cannedy had 18 points, and freshman Asa White chipped in 16 for the Golden Bulls.
 
JCSU (4-2) shot 69-percent from the field in the second half and 59-percent in the game. The Golden Bulls also recorded a season-high for field goals attempted (57) and made (36).
 
Kendall Wooldridge led JW (1-4) in scoring with 23 points and six rebounds, following Cameron Lawson and Jaben Mars each with 10.

JCSU will take a break for exams and will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 9 at home with a contest versus Lee-McRae on Saturday at 2 p.m.
