Golden Bulls Close out Regular Season at CIAA EVENT III

BOWIE Md. – The Johnson C Smith University women's bowling team rolled an average of 650.00 to pace the Golden Bulls to a second-place finish at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Event III at the AMF Southdale Lanes in Pasadena, Md this weekend.
 
The Golden Bulls tallied a total of 7,389 total pinfalls that included a team total pin count of 1,539 in bakers and an overall record of 3-5 for the event.
 
JCSU went 1-2 on the first day of competition, earning a win over Livingstone (650-474),). Day two saw the Golden Bulls win one matches against Livingstone winning 590-584.

In the Bakers, the Golden Bulls edged LC (705-632), and falling to Fayetteville State (876-834) to finish 1-1.

Next up, the Golden Bulls will compete in the CIAA Bowling Championship on the weekend of March 25-26 at the Lee Hi Lanes in Salem, Va.
