CHARLOTTE - The Johnson C. Smith University men's and women's basketball team will host the Vikings of Elizabeth City State University in a cross division match up on Thursday, Jan. 11 inside historic Brayboy Gymnasium. The women will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men.
The women are coming off a 54-51 win over Bluefield State University on last Saturday. JCSU stands 5-7 overall on the year and 2-3 in conference play.
On Saturday, the men's team took down Bluefield State 87-75, as
Avery Huggins led the Golden Bulls with 25 points. The men are now 8-4 overall and 3-2 in conference play.

Elizabeth City State men's basketball team (5-11, 2-3 CIAA) ended their four-game losing streak by defeating the Shaw Bears (7-6, 3-2 CIAA) on Tuesday.
The Johnson C. Smith University Office of Student Leadership and Engagement is hosting its annual Sorority Night during the JCSU-ECSU men's and women's basketball game on January 11th.
